From: PiNK SUMMER 2017 p.17 (オンライン雑誌はこちらをクリック) BY Sunroom YOGA ポーズを取ることがヨガの目的と考えられがちですが、本来は自分の「意識を向ける」練習対象として、 まず分かりやすい身体を使ったポーズに取り組んでいきます。 自分が今の瞬間体験していることに「意識を向ける」ことができれば、それはもうヨガをしているということ。五感を呼び覚ましてくれる野外は、そんなプラクティスをするのに最適。 ヨガマットやヨガウエアも用意する必要ありません。自分が一番心地良く感じる服を着て、静かに座ることからまず始めてみましょう。 心地よい座り方で背筋を引き上げ、自分の骨盤を地に根をはるように安定させます。呼吸を繰り返しながら、今聞こえてくる風の音や、土の匂い、肌に触れる太陽の温かさ、 目に入ってくる緑に身を委ねて。細かいことはわからなくても大丈夫、その「意識を向ける」ことが大事なのです。 自分の体の赴くままにすこしずつ首や腕、肩などを動かしていきましょう。 難しいポーズを繰り広げるのではなく、シンプルなポーズを丁寧に意識して行っていく。そうすると普段気づかなかった繊細な感覚に包まれていきます。 身体を動かしたくなったら、バックナンバーを持参して以前紹介したポーズを是非野外でもやってみてください。室内の時とはまた違った体験になるでしょう。 木々も鳥たちも虫たちも、私たちも、ただそこに存在する。それだけでいい。命を育んでくれる自然、命を運んでくれる身体、命を繋いでくれる呼吸、胸の中心に手を当て感謝の気持ちを。 監修:渡部 累(わたなべ るい) SunroomYOGA 主宰。ホリスティックな生き方を教えてくれるヨガを広めるため、都内中心にレッスンを運営。 自然保護ボランティア活動を始め、倫理的、社会的な問題に積極的に取り組むなど活躍は多岐に渡る。www.sunroomyoga.com写真:Richard Grehan (www.imagemill.jp)
