Dealing with a new cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming. During all of the doctor visits, diagnostic testing, and treatment planning, discussions about fertility preservation and options for parenthood after cancer may be overlooked.
Women who want to start or expand their families are faced with the additional problem of figuring out how to get treated for their cancer while making sure it will still be possible to have children in the future.
