Run for the Cure® / Walk for Life

Lace up your running shoes. It’ll soon be time to get moving, have fun, and raise money for a good cause. RFTC Japan’s signature charity event Run for the Cure® / Walk for Life will be held both in person and online this year.

The in-person event will be held for 3km walkers and 5km runners on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Citabria Bay Park Grill & Bar, next to Toyosu Gururi Park. We are looking forward to seeing many of you there.

The virtual event will be held for all events — the 5km and 10km runs, and the 3km walk — from Friday, November 22 to Monday, November 25, 2024. For those who register for the online event, you can do your walk or run any time you like during this period.

Whether you take part online or offline, we would love for you to join us in this important event with your family, colleagues, and friends.

All proceeds will go towards RFTC Japan’s community outreach programs promoting breast cancer awareness in Japan.

We will track you as if you’re running the actual RFTC / WFL course, no matter where you are.

HOW TO DO ONLINE RFTC/WFL 2024

Step 1
Register for RFTC/WFL 2024 on the event page.

Step 2
Once registered, we’ll send you an email with instructions on how to download and claim your profile on the SportSplits App before the event.

Step 3
Wherever you choose to walk or run — and whenever between 6:00am JST on Friday, November 22, and 11:59pm on Monday, November 25 — open the SportSplits App and push ‘Start’ and run or walk your designated distance. We will track you as if you’re running the actual RFTC /WFL course – no matter where you are.

Step 4
When you hit your designated distance, the tracking will stop automatically, and your result will be submitted.

*Please be aware the in order to participate in the RFTC/WFL 2024 you will need to have an Android or Apple mobile device with the SportSplits App installed.
