The Foundation\u2019s purchased goods were also available through UBS, with the proceeds going to support our outreach programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Run for the Cure\u24c7 Foundation\u2019s chairperson, Vickie Paradise Green, gave a presentation during the Lunch Session, talking about her experience as a breast cancer survivor. She emphasized the importance of self-examinations and mammography screenings in Japan for early detection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/rftcjapan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_9019-edit.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-22083\" src=\"https:\/\/rftcjapan.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/IMG_9019-edit.jpg\" alt=\"img_9019-edit\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She explained about the Foundation\u2019s mission to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease while also providing support to Japanese women through its awareness initiatives and community activities. More than 20 women attended the presentation, learning more about various screening methods.
