After losing\u00a0both her mother and her sister to breast cancer and then herself receiving a breast cancer diagnosis, Annie Parker decided it was time to look for answers. Her search for the elusive link between her, her family, and breast cancer\u00a0initially led her to write a book, yet ended up in a 2012 Hollywood film that melds her journey as a patient with that of Mary-Claire King, a breast cancer-focused geneticist.<\/p>\n
